My Personal Blood Pressure Monitor

It is my belief that a Blood Pressure Monitor should be in every household.

This is one medical instrument that has become a very close friend to me.

It has been an indispensable instrument to me - in fact, my Hypertension Treatment could not have been accomplished without my Unit.

1. Omron - Cuff Blood Pressure Monitor - Model HEM-790-IT - comes with a Comfit Cuff - CD-ROM - USB Cable - AC Adapter - 4 AA Batteries.

   This Unit uses the Oscillometric method of blood pressure measurement.

   This means it detects your blood's movement through your brachial artery and converts the movement into a digital reading.

   The Unit stores measurement results for two people and features Morning and Evening Averages.

   TruRead allows for three consecutive measurements with timed intervals for an average reading.

   The Software included with this Unit allows you to view, process and print data about blood pressure and pulse rate measured by this Unit.

   This is the 1st. Monitor I use in all my Sessions and take three initial readings at 5 minutes intervals.



2. Omron - Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor - Model HEW-670-IT comes with a CD-ROM - Serial USB Cable - 2 AAA Batteries - Storage Case.

   The Unit uses the oscillometric method of blood pressure measurement.

   This means the Unit detects your blood's movement through the artery in your wrist and converts the movements into digital reading.

   The Software included with this unit allows me to view, process and print data about blood pressure and pulse rate measured by this Unit - and upload this data to my computer

   This is the 2nd. Monitor I use in all my Sessions. This unit has an Advanced Positioning Sensor that confirms the unit is level with the User's heart - this helps ensure that each reading is accurate and reliable.



3. Life Source - Cuff Blood Pressure Monitor - Model-UA-767V - comes with a Cuff and 4 AA Batteries - does not include Software.

   The Unit uses the oscillometric method of blood pressure measurement.

   This means the Unit detects your blood's movement through the brachial artery and converts the movement into a digital reading of blood pressure and pulse rate.

   This Unit does not provide a memory feature to store the measurements.

   This is the 3rd. Monitor I use in my Sessions.



4. WrisTech - Wrist Blood Pressure Monitor - Model-HL-168 comes with - 2 AAA Batteries - Storage Case.

   The Unit uses the oscillometric method of blood pressure measurement.

   This means the Unit detects your blood's movement through the artery in your wrist and converts the movements into digital blood pressure and pulse rate measured by the Monitor - with a memory to store and recall these measurements.

   This Unit does not have the Advanced Positioning Sensor that confirms the Unit is level with the User's Heart - to overcome this -

   I remember the position established by the Omron - Wrist Unit.

   This is the 4th Unit I use in my Sessions.



At these Sessions I always take my temperature - three times - at five minute intervals -

I did these readings to see if my temperature remained the same as my blood pressure and pulse rate were changing.

I used a temporal type thermometer - the type you place on your temple or forehead for a reading.
