Hypertension Hard Copy might offer some insight into what happens to the Elderly with Hypertension - You will see some of my actual blood pressure readings. While on medication - my Blood Pressure varied from Morning, Afternoon and Evening - higher in the Morning - lower in the Afternoon and Evening - my Pulse Rate followed a similar pattern in reverse - lower in the Morning - higher in Afternoon and Evening. There were at least two areas in my blood pressure environment that were major concerns to me -
When I experienced a very high Morning pressure level and asked my doctor for a reason - I was told to change my medication dosage schedule from evening to morning - I did this and it made a difference.
